Attention Blondes (Or Almost Blondes!)

12 Jul

Summer is here and it’s lightening time for those locks!!

I have naturally blonde hair but lately it’s started to turn more mousey-brown.

I was in the drug store and saw this:

JOHN FRIEDA: SHEER BLONDE GO BLONDER SPRAY

I unfortunately didn’t do a true before and after photo but these photos were both taken outside and I think you can really tell the difference.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

The product costs around $14 a bottle and it’s amazing!

It works by spraying it in after a shower and blow drying your hair. I saw a huge difference after three applications.

Personally I spray it all over but the directions say that you can just spray sections of your hair for a highlight look.

Happy Blonding!! We do have more fun 😀

Peanut Butter Puffins

11 Jul

Those of you that know me know that I have a slightly questionable obsession with peanut butter (the bad kind). I know, horrible!

I was in the grocery store the other day and came across the best thing EVER!

Peanut Butter Puffins!!

These little wonders are:

Low Fat

Only 6g of Sugar per Serving

No Artificial Flavours – natural peanut butter used!

Free of Trans Fatty Acids

Cholesterol Free

Vegan

Kosher

WOW! And they taste amazing!!

The one problem with them is alone they do not have enough fibre to keep you full until lunchtime. I suggest adding a high fibre cereal to your bowl of puffins – Go Lean Crunch is excellent with these!

Happy Eating!

Dynamic Stretching: Run Warm-up

11 Jul

Sarah Tory demonstrates a dynamic warm-up for a running workout!

This is an excellent way to warm-up your muscles without using static stretches which can lead to injury if performed before properly warming up.

Thanks Sarah!!
